2026...beautiful conditions, wonderful people and nature’s gorgeous fireworks.

After a well deserved break spent with loved ones over the Christmas period we were back at it and getting ready to welcome in a new year in the coming days.

For this tour we were aiming at a small weather window available that too
22nd December πŸ’š. Another night spent on the
edge of the fjord with the Lyngen Alps as the perfect backdrop.
Despite the haze, the aurora shone bright and shone through allowing our guests an enjoyable evening experiencing everything we love about be
21st December πŸ’š

For this tour we headed north to the coast with the knowledge that if the weather forecast was correct the cloud cover would slowly start to break up from that direction first.

On arrival at our destination we were lucky enough to
20th December πŸ’š. An adventure out to the
border of Finland and Sweden was required for this tour for the opportunity of seeing the northern lights.

While long hours on the road aren’t ideal, on some nights it is required to find better condit
19th December πŸ’š. It may have been a night of a
few annoying clouds and haze and waiting for the aurora to find the gaps but that wasn’t going to dampen the spirits of our guests on this night.

We actually came away from this tour with sore ri
17th December πŸ’š. This private tour took us out to north of the neighbouring island of Ringvasey.
With our guests having already joined us on a previous tour and lucky enough to see some beautiful lights, this night was just about seeing a new landsc
16th December πŸ’š. Conditions meant the best option for premium sky was an adventure into Finland.

We set up camp beside a frozen lake which was the perfect spot to take in the amazing show above as well as an ideal platform to take portraits of our
15th December πŸ’š. A gorgeous night on the
coast with another group of amazing guests.
A night where we needed some patience as we were dealing with a night of quieter aurora activity that needed to appear in the gaps of cloud cover moving across our
14th December πŸ’š. A fun night out on the coast at one of our favourite locations. 
While a little shy at first it wasn’t too long before lady aurora warmed up to us and started to spread across the night sky allowing us to take some portraits o
12th December πŸ’š. After such a great tour on the previous night and the same weather conditions we decided to head back to the same location in the hope of a repeat experience.

Once again we were blessed with amazing conditions and a spectacular nor
11th December πŸ’š. WHAT A NIGHT!!

We wanted to head north so we could make the most of some forecasted weather moving in from the south and we were welcomed on arrival by some gorgeous colourful aurora already bursting across the sky.

We always like
8th December πŸ’š. A night of shy aurora but a van full of excited and grateful guests just happy to be out experiencing the beautiful Norwegian nature.
Not all nights can produce epic northern lights displays, it would be amazing for our guests if tha
6th December πŸ’š. With this location so ideal on our last tour and the weather conditions allowing us to do so we decided to go there again.
We had to be a little patient on arrival as we experienced a fair bit of haze and a shy aurora but all good th
4th December πŸ’š. The majority of the time we are battling the weather conditions here in Tromsø so and it can feel draining for not only our guests who have travelled here on holiday from all over the world but also us as guides.

more perfect than this for a northern lights adventure tour....standing on a frozen lake underneath a green dancing sky in perfect conditions with an amazing group of people?

Another proposal, another yes, another beautiful moment shared!

With a proposal planned we wanted to take the safest bet with the weather so we made our way out to Finland.

We had to be a little patient as we had a fair bit of h
21st November πŸ’š. Another amazing night out in the north! Our destination for the night was Skibotn and to set up camp along the edge of the fjord overlooking the stunning Lyngen Alps.

We were blessed with absolute dream conditions upon arrival...cl
20th November πŸ’š. Leaving Tromse and its
moody weather in our wake we headed out to near the Finish border for better skies.
We knew the weather was going to be more optimal the further inland we travelled but lucky for us we didn’t need to go
