15th January πŸ’š. When you’re chasing gaps in
the cloud cover a big part of seeing the aurora comes down to luck and timing, will the gap in the clouds be above you when the northern lights come out to play?

This was exactly the case in point f
14th January πŸ’š. Had to escape the weather around Tromso and make our way south for this tour. With some of our guests having never experienced the northern lights and only being in town for one night the pressure was slightly on...

January 11th πŸ’š. A private tour for two on this night and what a night it turned out to be!

We hadn’t even made it to our destination for the evening before the green lady put on her first show, so we made a quick pit stop en route and took in
8th January πŸ’š. Great conditions meant we could spend another night on the coast and we were lucky to have some nice aurora during the majority of the night.

With the cold temperatures starting to get to our guests and a few hours of lights across t
7th January πŸ’š. We were blessed with another
crystal clear sky so we chose to revisit the same seaside location as the previous tour but this time around space weather conditions were much more on our side.

Our guests were on the receiving end of a
6th January πŸ’š. A beautiful crystal clear night spent on the coast for this tour but unfortunately we had a very shy aurora.

On the majority of evenings we are picking locations with the most optimal sky available, often before incoming cloud cover

After a well deserved break spent with loved ones over the Christmas period we were back at it and getting ready to welcome in a new year in the coming days.

For this tour we were aiming at a small weather window available that too
22nd December πŸ’š. Another night spent on the
edge of the fjord with the Lyngen Alps as the perfect backdrop.
Despite the haze, the aurora shone bright and shone through allowing our guests an enjoyable evening experiencing everything we love about be

For this tour we headed north to the coast with the knowledge that if the weather forecast was correct the cloud cover would slowly start to break up from that direction first.

On arrival at our destination we were lucky enough to

An adventure out to the
border of Finland and Sweden was required for this tour for the opportunity of seeing the northern lights.

While long hours on the road aren’t ideal, on some nights it is required to find better condi

few annoying clouds and haze and waiting for the aurora to find the gaps but that wasn’t going to dampen the spirits of our guests on this night.

We actually came away from this tour with sore ri

With our guests having already joined us on a previous tour and lucky enough to see some beautiful lights, this night was just about seeing a new landsc

Conditions meant the best option for premium sky was an adventure into Finland.

We set up camp beside a frozen lake which was the perfect spot to take in the amazing show above as well as an ideal platform to take portraits of our
